Jsme tady od roku 2015. Stovky akcí od DJs přes operu až po symfonický orchestr Českého Rozhlasu, dostupná kultura (nejen) pro mladou generaci, živé místo uprostřed města.
A teď to visí ve vzduchu – začátkem května rozhodla Rada hl. m. Prahy o vyškrtnutí místa z tržního řádu, což reálně znamená konec stálého provozu. Proto spouštíme Kulturní léto na Stalinu – měsíc hudby a debat od 15. května (první hudební akce 22/5/2026) do poloviny června. Zdarma, otevřené všem (ovšem ale v závislosti na počasí). Na stánku také bude možné podepsat papírovou formu petice na záchranu tohoto místa!
A hlavně dvě debaty, které nechceme odkládat:
27. 5. – Diskuze s organizátory United Islands, Letní Letné a Kasáren Karlín + zástupci města.
9. 6. – Debata s kandidáty na primátora/primátorku o kulturní politice a budoucnosti nezávislé kultury v Praze. Praha na živou kulturu ve veřejném prostoru má. Potřebuje jen jasná pravidla a vůli taková místa nepovažovat za problém ale za příležitost.

We've been here since 2015. Hundreds of events ranging from DJs to opera and the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, accessible culture (not only) for the younger generation, a living space in the heart of the city.
And now it's all up in the air – at the beginning of May, the Prague City Council decided to remove the venue from the market regulations, which in practice means the end of permanent operation. That's why we're launching Cultural Summer at Stalin – a month of music and debates from May 15 (first music event on 22/5/2026) to mid-June. Free of charge, open to everyone (weather permitting). At the stand you'll also be able to sign a paper petition to save this venue!
And most importantly, two debates we don't want to postpone:
May 27 – Discussion with the organizers of United Islands, Letní Letná and Kasárna Karlín, plus city representatives.
June 9 – Debate with candidates for Mayor on cultural policy and the future of independent culture in Prague. Prague has what it takes for live culture in public spaces. It just needs clear rules and the will to see such venues not as a problem, but as an opportunity.
